Our story

A family company with a social mission

H.E. Oknha Keo Mom founded Lyly Food Industry in May 2002 to make quality Khmer rice and snack crackers. From day one she hired people from poor and disadvantaged backgrounds, so the company would improve lives as well as make a profit.

We have grown from 20 employees to 280, and 100 of them are women. Today her daughter, CEO Ms. Ing Chhivly, is taking Lyly to international standards and new markets.

Community

Growing with Cambodian farmers

We work directly with smallholder farmers: training them in Cam-GAP standards, funding their inputs through a revolving fund, and buying their crops at a guaranteed price.

The Happy Rabbit, LYLY's mascot

Our brand

Meet the Happy Rabbit

Our rabbit stands for wisdom and diversity, and for the abundance of good food we make. The map of Cambodia looks like a rabbit, so we coloured our logo in the white, red and blue of the Cambodian flag.

“Nom Srouy Lyly Oiii! Chgang mes? Chgang mes? Chgang mes?”

Our slogan: “Lyly crackers, awww! Why are they so delicious? Delicious? Delicious?”
